I have been doing mostly Cuban dancing as a hobby for approximately 8 years and I wanted to improve my technique and LA Style dancing so I decided to book some 1 on 1 private lessons with Kristi.

Best technique on the GC!!!nI came from big group studios to Elite- Kristi corrected my form immediately & everything finally started making sense!nI get bendy back pain so I’m a geek for form & foundation and i really appreciate the way all teachers here teach & focus on truly improving your style, breaking it down in easy to learn steps & repetition (which makes you a better & more creative dancer).

Bachata classes have hands down been my favourite bachata classes so far and Kristian has a way of teaching both leads and followers a gentle yet assertive and flowly way to move. Sooo good. I’ve had a noticeable difference from comments I get.

My only bummer is they only have salsa on2 of the salsas, but Kristi has over a decade of experience and swears by it! Either way the technique is transferable & it’s improved my capacity in other styles. I also see it growing in Australia.

I can’t wait to see these guys expand, though, selfishly the semi-private feel in some classes is an excellent transition if you feel like you’ve got two left feet as you’ll be out dancing at socials with confidence much quicker. Love this studio! Super grateful. Thanks team ❤️💃

I did a Bachata lesson there, and it was great fun. The teacher explained the steps clearly and gave us plenty of time to practice before adding new steps into the routine. The studio decor is lovely, it’s also located near the water and the Carrara markets.
